Bambu printers are unusually capable before modification. This guide ranks upgrades by the engineering problem they solve — and keeps a clear “skip” list where the evidence is not strong enough.
Best broad-use upgrade: CryoGrip Pro. Best low-risk quality-of-life upgrade: Panda Lux. Best workflow upgrade for frequent nozzle changes: Panda Revo. AMS and purge parts are useful when they solve a diagnosed feed/retract or wiping problem. Panda Touch and Panda Jet are conditional. We would currently skip Panda Claw as a preventative upgrade.
BIQU positions CryoGrip Pro as a double-sided, low-temperature magnetic spring-steel build plate for a broad range of Bambu printers. The current product family spans A1 mini, A1, P/X and H-series sizes and BIQU publishes lower typical bed-temperature ranges for PLA and PETG than conventional PEI workflows.
The engineering value is not “cold printing” as an end in itself. It is the ability to obtain strong first-layer grip while reducing the amount of bed heat required for some materials. That can reduce warm-up/cool-down time and gives you a second controlled surface when the stock plate is not ideal.

A strong second build surface for PLA/PETG-heavy workflows and users who repeatedly fight first-layer adhesion. For high-temperature polymers, keep bed and chamber requirements in the process rather than assuming the lowest possible bed temperature is always desirable.
D&L view: Strong recommendation / hero BIQU product.

Better chamber lighting does not improve calibration, but it makes first-layer inspection, camera monitoring and fault recognition easier. BIQU currently offers Panda Lux variants for P1/X1, A1 and A1 mini.

A low-cost way to improve visibility without altering the material path or motion system.
D&L view: Recommended as a low-risk quality-of-life upgrade.
Check current price at BIQU →The Panda Revo platform is most compelling for P1P/P1S/X1C users who actually switch nozzle type or diameter. BIQU’s current product page describes a drop-in Revo implementation with 60 W heater, up to 300°C operation and high-flow variants. The Revo ecosystem also makes cold, tool-free nozzle swaps much faster than rebuilding a conventional hotend.
That is a workflow advantage, not an automatic print-quality upgrade. If you run one 0.4 mm nozzle for months, the stock system may remain the rational choice.

A strong fit for abrasive materials, different nozzle diameters and users who value fast nozzle swaps.
D&L view: Recommended for frequent nozzle changes and engineering-material workflows.
Check current price at BIQU →BIQU’s Juicer family extends the aftermarket hotend route into A1/A1 mini and newer Bambu platforms, with standard- and high-flow variants and hardened-nozzle options. The higher-flow version makes sense when throughput is the constraint; the standard-flow/hardened route is easier to justify where abrasion resistance and replaceability matter more than maximum volumetric flow.
For users pushing volumetric flow on compatible newer Bambu machines.
Check High Flow Juicer →Hardened-nozzle route when wear resistance is the main requirement.
Check Standard Flow Juicer →The AMS repeatedly pushes and retracts filament through PTFE tubing. Bend radius, tube condition, path resistance and purge/wipe behaviour can therefore become real reliability variables. BIQU sells AMS Slack/routing parts, guards, tubes, cables and purge/brush components.
We would not modify a fault-free AMS because accessories exist. But if you have repeatable “failed to pull back filament”, motor-overload, routing or wipe failures, these are sensible problem-led parts to investigate.
PTFE routing, guards, extension cables and AMS Slack options.

See purge upgrades →BQDry Mini is a new drop-in heater/dryer designed to sit inside the first-generation AMS. BIQU describes tool-free installation, preservation of AMS sealing and Web UI temperature control. At the time of this update the product is very new and BIQU lists no customer reviews, so we would treat it as an interesting engineering option rather than a proven default.

Potentially useful for keeping moisture-sensitive filament conditioned while printing from a first-generation AMS.
D&L view: Promising, but too new for an unconditional long-term recommendation.
Check current price at BIQU →Panda Touch adds a 5-inch touchscreen, wireless control and multi-printer management. The important caveat is that BIGTREETECH does not control Bambu’s firmware. BIQU’s own page publishes specific supported firmware versions and explicitly warns that future Bambu updates can affect functionality.

Most compelling for P1P/P1S users who want local touchscreen control or a multi-printer interface.
D&L view: Conditional recommendation — verify the current firmware compatibility notice before purchase.
Check current price at BIQU →Panda Jet changes airflow distribution around the nozzle and BIQU describes it as an omni-directional MJF-nylon duct for P1/X1/Panda Revo systems. Owner reports are not uniformly positive, so it should follow a repeatable cooling diagnosis rather than be fitted automatically.
Potentially useful when overhangs, bridges or directional cooling remain a repeatable problem after temperature, speed, part orientation and fan settings have been checked.
D&L view: Conditional recommendation.
Check current price at BIQU →Replacing a correctly functioning extruder gearset is only rational if the new part has a clear reliability or wear advantage. Panda Claw has attracted repeated owner reports of backlash, metal debris, premature wear and extrusion problems that disappeared when users returned to stock components. That evidence is enough for us to keep it out of the affiliate list at present.
It is different rather than universally better. CryoGrip is particularly attractive when strong adhesion at lower bed temperatures is useful. PEI remains a robust general-purpose surface, especially when its thermal behaviour and finish suit the polymer.
It is easiest to justify when you change nozzle diameter or nozzle type regularly, print abrasive materials, or need higher-flow options. A user who prints mostly PLA through one 0.4 mm nozzle may gain little.
Compatibility is firmware-dependent. BIGTREETECH publishes specific supported firmware ranges and warns that future Bambu updates can remove functionality. Check the current compatibility note before buying.
We would not currently fit Panda Claw simply as preventative maintenance. There are repeated owner reports of backlash, wear debris and extrusion problems; a working stock extrusion system is preferable until the evidence changes.
